Historic Morton Cemetery Tour
Graveyard Symbolism: Stories of Life and Death in Morton Cemetery

Explore the art, symbols, and often untold tales of historic Morton Cemetery. From rosebuds to books, every symbol has a meaning and a story to tell if you know what to look for.  Space is limited, so purchase your ticket ahead of time by calling 281-342-6478.


Cost:
$8 per person (ages 4 and under FREE)

Time:
10 - 11am

When:
  • April 23​

Where:
Guests will meet their tour guide at Morton Cemetery located at 401 N. 2nd Street, Richmond, TX.  Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the tour is scheduled to begin.


*Comfortable walking shoes and bottled water are recommended.

Tickets can also be purchased by calling Visitor Services at 281-342-6478.

Note: This is a special program and is a separate fee from regular admissions.  If you would like to tour the historic houses and exhibit gallery, you must purchase a Museum Campus admission ticket at the Visitor Services desk or online by clicking here.

Historic Richmond Walking Tour
Join us for a guided tour of historic Richmond, its unique buildings and the people who called it home.  People and places of interest include the 1908 County Courthouse, the John and Lottie Moore Home, historic downtown Morton Street, Carrie Nation, Jane Long and many more!
