Our History, Our Diversity

The Fort Bend History Museum offers a unique monthly speaker series titled “Our History, Our Diversity,” which began in March 2022. Held in our revitalized museum gallery and event space, these lectures are designed to elevate, celebrate, and illuminate the diverse stories and individuals of Fort Bend County. Through engaging talks and interactive workshops, attendees can deepen their understanding of our local heritage and connect with the vibrant community that shapes our history. Join us for these enriching experiences that contribute to preserving and sharing the cultural richness of our area.

Searching for something to do for Halloween? Join the Fort Bend Museum throughout the month of October for frights, thrills, and chills! Miss Ivy’s Spooktacular Halloween Party is family-friendly fun with trick-or-treating throughout the historic Halloween-decorated Moore House. If you are looking for something a little more frightening, come along on a walking tour of historic Richmond where you will hear the city’s haunting tales of old.
