A Gilded Age Christmas in Texas
Step back in time to the early 1900s and experience a gilded age Christmas this December at the 1883 John M. Moore House in Richmond, Texas. The house will be decorated by the Fort Bend Museum’s volunteer Docents to reflect the styles and opulence of the Gilded Age - a time when the industrial age was creating “new money” millionaires. At the end of the tours, guests are treated to complimentary cookies and hot wassail.
The Docents will also offer a selection of unique handmade seasonal items for your last-minute shopping needs.
