​Historic House Tours are available at 1PM & 3PM Tuesday-Friday
and 10AM, 1PM, & 3PM on ​Saturday.

  • $12 for adults (ages 13-64)
  • $10 for seniors (ages 65+)
  • $8 for children (ages 4-12)

  • FREE: Children (ages 3 and under)​
  • FREE: Members of the Fort Bend History Association
  • FREE: Active-duty members of the U.S. military
  • Half-price admission for up to 5 family members accompanying the U.S. military service member

Visiting the Fort Bend Museum

  • ​Explore the diverse history of Fort Bend County in the newly renovated permanent exhibit gallery, featuring items from the Fort Bend History Association's extensive collections.
  • Take a house tour of the Long-Smith Cottage. Built in 1855, the cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Richmond and was originally placed on land owned by Jane Long, the "Mother of Texas."
  • Tour the 1883 historic Moore Mansion, home to Congressman John. M. and Lottie Dyer Moore. Four generations of the Moore family lived in the home, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
