Looking for something to do this Spring Break? Join us at the Fort Bend Museum March 15-18 for a week of hands-on history activities for guests of all ages.  in addition to exploring our historic homes and museum gallery, guests can travel back in time and experience life as a pioneer, take a lesson in our one-room school, play old-fashioned games, and more!

If Spring Break participants are interested in our 1pm or 3pm historic house tours, a Regular Admission ticket is required.  For more information, please call the Museum at 281-342-6478.
Families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and blanket to enjoy in our courtyard!
Tuesday: Pioneer Chores
Let's travel back in time to experience daily life on the Texas frontier!  Activities include drawing water from the well, washing clothes on a washboard, grinding corn, and churning butter.

Wednesday: Textiles in Texas
Join us as a spinner guides guests through making cloth by demonstrating our spinning wheels using cotton and wool.  In addition, guests will have the opportunity to learn hand spinning and weaving.

Thursday: One-room School
Sit up straight and get your slates as class begins in our turn-of-the-century schoolroom.  Activities include playing the pipe chimes, writing on slates, using nib pens dipped in ink, and more!

Friday: Fun & Games
Let's have some fun and play classic games that children of all ages have loved throughout history.  Guests will get a chance to learn, practice, and play games such as stilts, bowling, rolling hoops, and more.
