"The Paris Opera House, once a revered building where thousands gathered to hear some of the best performances in the world is now having some slight difficulties. The opening of the previous show, Il Muto, was a disastrous night that left several in the audience dead after a chandelier crashed, a star singer Carlotta without her voice, and a member of the crew, Joseph, nearly hanged to death. Now, on the eve of the premier of its new show, Don Juan, tensions are running high."

What should I wear to Secrets of the Opera Murder Mystery Night?
To fully immerse yourself in the game, dressing the part is highly encouraged.  The murder mystery is inspired by Phantom of the Opera, set in the 1880s, so let Victorian, opera, or masquerade-themed attire be your guide!

Continuing tradition, but with a twist!

Congressman John and Lottie Moore's eldest daughter, Ivy Moore Morrison, enjoyed Halloween so much that she hosted a Halloween party on the Moore Home grounds for the neighborhood children for many years.  To continue her love of the season, staff and docents decorate the 1st floor of the Moore Home in a different theme each year.  October events include a viewing of the Moore Home.  This year's theme is "Secrets of the Opera."
