Open Call to All Creatives — All Art Forms Welcome!
The Fort Bend Museum invites artists of all backgrounds to submit their creative interpretations of
what Hispanic Heritage means to you
. We are seeking original works that reflect the richness, diversity, history, and cultural impact of Hispanic and Latino communities.
All art forms are welcome
, including but not limited to:
Visual art (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, etc.)
Poetry and creative writing
Performance (music, dance, spoken word)
Video and film (short works only)
Guidelines:
Maximum of 2 submissions per person. All ages and skill levels encouraged to participate.
Selected works will be showcased at the Fort Bend Museum from
September 16 through mid-November 2025
in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Disclaimer:
Submission to this open call does not guarantee selection for inclusion in the Hispanic Heritage Month exhibit. All submissions will be reviewed by our community panel and selected works will be chosen based on space availability and thematic relevance.

Open Call: Historical Artifacts Wanted!
The Fort Bend Museum invites community members to share their stories through historical artifacts and objects of Hispanic heritage!
We are seeking
items of historical or personal significance
that reflect the rich cultural contributions, traditions, and everyday lives of Hispanic individuals and families in Fort Bend County.
What We're Looking For:
Photographs, letters, documents
Clothing, textiles, religious items
Tools, household goods, heirlooms
Art, music, and cultural memorabilia
Guidelines:
Maximum of 2 submissions per person.
Do you have an object with a story to tell?
Whether it’s something passed down through generations or a meaningful piece of recent history, your contribution helps preserve and celebrate Hispanic heritage in our community.
