The Texian Time Machine is a new outreach educational program developed by the Fort Bend County Museum Association that brings the experiences of the settlers of Austin's Colony and the American frontier to life on school campuses throughout the Houston metropolitan region.
The Time Machine fulfills TEKS objectives and is closely tied to Texas
and American History curriculum. Costumed interpreters, living history
demonstrations, and student activities make this history festival both fun
and educationally
valuable.

The program can be designed to teach up to 300 students per day in sessions that last about 2 1/2 hours per group. The cost for the program is $12 per student.
