The Fort Bend County Museum Association offers many opportunities for you to become involved with history and with your community.  Please consider these opportunities that assist our organization in its mission to preserve and teach Texas history--and offer you the opportunity to meet friends, expand your horizons and serve others.

Join: Members of our Museum Association contribute financially to the Museum's mission, and receive complimentary admissions, discounts, newsletters, and other benefits

Volunteer:  Many of our programs use volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, please contact the Museum at (281)342-6478, or check back on this page as volunteer opportunities are posted.

Join the Fort Bend Museum Docents:  The Docents are volunteers who hold bi-monthly meetings, volunteer for Museum events, take fun trips, and host the Museum's annual Candlelight Tours.

Join the Fort Bend Archeological Society:  Your membership includes complimentary membership in the Fort Bend Archeological Society. Preserve and protect our history through archeological excavations and research.

Volunteer for one of our many events, including the Lone Star Stomp gala, Texian Market Days festival, or Children's Day.

Donate artifacts of relevance to our collection to help us preserve and interpret local and state history. Contact Chris Godbold.
