Escape the heat and dive into the past at the Fort Bend Museum's summer history programs! This year's programs will take place July 13 through July 16and August 10 through August 13. All programs will be offered in the morning and afternoon on alternative days. Programs are suitable for children ages eight through 12, but younger children are allowed with parent participation. Each session is limited to 20, so be sure to call and reserve your spot. Cost is $6 per program/$5 for members.

Programs:
Archeology: Introduction to archeology and Native Americans, identifying and digging up artifacts.
Frontier Survival: Print and sign a land grant with a quill pen, learn the basics of cabin building, play the games of the the time, and make a snack.
At Home in 1860: Includes dress-up, tour of Long-Smith Cottage, carding cotton and other chores.
At Home in 1890: Family life in 1890 includes tour of Historic Moore Home, schoolwork and Victorian games.
