The DeWalt Heritage Center is now open every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (except holiday weekends), thanks to a dedicated and talented docent staff!



Winning Contest Photo: "Wind in the Water"

Despite the downpour of our much needed rain, a supportive gathering of visitors came to our 1st annual photo contest exhibit on October 9, 2011 to view photos taken throughout Fort Bend County and applaud the winners. The Grand Prize winning photo of the DeWalt Heritage Center's 1st Annual Photo Contest is "Wind in the Water" by Jaci M. Elliott.

TheFirst Place winning photos and the Grand Prize winner will appear in the first ever DeWalt Heritage Center Calendar.

2012 Photo Calendars with the winning Fort Bend County Photographs may now be pre-ordered for a discounted $15 ($20 after November 15th) You may mail a check made out to FBCMA-DeWalt Heritage Center to P. O. Box 460, Richmond, TX 77406-0460 (Attention: Diane Ware).
