Get ready for a rockin' and rollin' good time at the 21st annual Lone Star Stomp gala! It's a lively, Western-themed party that will let your inner star shine! Get gussied up (don't forget the bling!) and join us for a great evening of dining, dancing, and socializing in the transformed George Ranch Covered Arena. Come shine like the star that you are! The Lone Star Stomp is the Fort Bend County Museum Association's major fundraising event, and all proceeds benefit our educational programs and preservation efforts. Please support the Stomp any way you can. It's an evening you won't soon forget!

1. Sweet Treats from the Sweethearts of the Stomp - Indulge your sweet tooth with this decadent package that continues for a whole year! Each month you'll be able to enjoy a special homemade dessert created by the celebrity ladies of Fort Bend County.

2. Southern Hospitality - Celebrate friendships in the style of the Old South. Enjoy a hearty Texas dinner, beer and wine for 30 friends at the Old South Plantation in Richmond. Donated by Steve Onstad of Swinging Door Restaurant, Gary Pochyla of the Old South Plantation and Nancy & Ed Hockaday.

3. Home, Sweet Home! - This quilt was hand-made right here in Fort Bend County and will add instant Texas artistry to any room in the house. The quilt's pattern is "Broken Lone Star" and contains the color theme of Texas wildflowers in its design. Donated by Patty Sutton of PS Quilting.

4. Hoof Beats through History: Wagon Ride & Fandango - Start your evening with a mule-drawn hayride through the George Ranch Historical Park before gathering around the chuckwagon for a true old west Fandango. You and 30 of your closest friends will enjoy a meal of Ranch barbecue and all the trimmings (beer and wine included). Donated by the George Ranch Historical Park, Candy & Dennis Jones and Aaron Kalinowski.

5. Brushstrokes of a Master - Add a vibrant splash of color to your home with an original oil painting by Houston artist James Busby. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking colors of Texas' natural landscape painted with inspiration from French Impressionism. Donated by James Busby.

6. All-Star Sports & Golf Package - This package is a sports lover's dream come true.

  • Enjoy a round of golf for four at Sweetwater Golf & Country Club and Wildcatt Golf Club and enjoy a round of golf and lunch for four at Sienna Plantation.
  • "Take me out to the ballgame" with four tickets to the Houston Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays on May 22. Parking is included.
  • Get in a little hockey action with tickets to see the Houston Aeros.
  • Display your sports pride with a Houston Astros autographed baseball and a Houston Texans football autographed by the Houston Texans' team owner, general manager and key players.
  • Finally, get to one of your games in style with a limousine for the night!

7. The Sport of Kings: Texas-Style - Back by popular demand: Enjoy a polo match at the magnificent 98-acre world-class Pecan Acres Polo Club in Simonton. The best seat in the house for your party of 50 will be on the veranda of the clubhouse, complete with a full barbecue dinner with all the trimmings. 8. Puppy Love - Take home "Oscar D. Mayer," an adorable 8-week-old pure breed Dachshund male. His mother was a red and white dapple and his father was fire engine red. Little Oscar D. Mayer comes with a complimentary first year of shots, basic puppy training and puppy accessories! 9. Happy Days Are Here Again - Bring together 50 of your friends and family for a '50s-themed party at Another Time Soda Fountain in Rosenberg. Party includes beer, wine, burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, malts, shakes, and all the old-time favorites. Donated by Renee and Bill Butler/Another Time Soda Fountain.

10. Fort Bend County Treasure - Part of a National Collector Series of Winchester Limited Edition Shotguns, this Model 9410 lever action shotgun was designed to commemorate the unique qualities of Fort Bend County. The gun is a "Presentation Premier" grade and is completely finished in nickel silver overlaid with 24-karat gold. Engravings include mention of the George Ranch, Jane Long, the Brazos River, Terry's Texas Rangers, the Runaway Scrape and Stephen F. Austin. The American Walnut stock is intricately laser-carved with commemorative scenes representing the rich history of Fort Bend County and embellished with several historical references. The shotgun is fully functioning, chambered in 410 bore, and comes with a custom French fitted case in rich hunter green. Donated by Lee Leaman.
